Higher Education

The town of Hickory Creek offers a prime location for access to higher education facilities.

North Central Texas College is located 5 minutes away in the city of Corinth and offers two-year degrees and certificates of completion. NCTC was established in 1924 and has since grown to a full-service community college.

The University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University are the largest universities of North Texas. Both are located within a 15-minute drive to Denton. In addition, the DFW Metroplex is home to over 20 colleges and universities including Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Texas Wesleyan University, the University of Dallas, the University of Texas at Arlington and the University of Texas at Dallas.
